I love the holiday season, especially Christmas with all of
the sights, sounds, and the wonderful smells that delight the senses and this
year Claire Burke has a great selection of home fragrances that can bring the
beauty of this special season into your home.
Claire Burke is a company that specializes in creating
lasting memories with fragrances that you will never forget. It was 56 years ago
when Claire Burke, who was an interior designer, launched a fragrance line infused
with real botanicals for the home.
The scents I usually enjoy smelling this time of the year is
pine, warm vanilla, apple spice, and peppermint. Even though these types of
fragrances are readily available from a variety of companies, I recently discovered
some of the most realistic, long lasting, and aromatic home fragrance products
by Claire Burke and today I would like to share with you my favorites for this
holiday season.
Applejack & Peel Home
Fragrance Room Spray and Oil: I love the scent of apples and spices baking in the oven at Christmas time
and during the winter season, however, I do not always have time to bake, so
the next best thing to do is to spray Claire Burke’s Applejack & Peel Spray,
which smells just like fresh, juicy apples baking in an oven. The spray comes
in a 3 oz. aluminum container. Whenever I spray this fragrance, my entire home
smells like I have been baking fresh baked apple pie! Price: $8.50. It is a
delectable fragrance that also comes as a fragrance oil, which can be placed in
a warmer or mixed with potpourri. If you place the oil in the warmer, it is
good to place 15 to 20 drops from the bottle.
I personally prefer the spray, but the oil is good to use as well for
better disbursement of the fragrance.
The oil comes in a 15 ml bottle and is $7.95.
Fresh
Royal Fir Home Fragrance Room Spray and Oil: Okay, I must say that this is my favorite
fragrance, because it smells just like a real Christmas Tree, in fact, it is
the most realistic pine scent I have ever smelled. It is very strong and lasts a long time after
being sprayed. I also like Fresh Royal Fir, because I have an artificial tree
and when I use the spray or oil, it seems like the fragrance is coming from the
tree. The spray comes in a 3 oz. container and is $8.50. The Fresh Royal Fir
Home Fragrance Oil is strong as well when put in a warmer, but I found that it
dissipates very fast, so I suggest adding a small amount of candle wax with 20
drops of the oil to make the fragrance last longer. The oil comes in a 15 ml
bottle and is $7.95.
Vanilla
Bean Home Fragrance Oil: I love the scent of vanilla, because it is a calming, pleasant fragrance
that can be used all year long. I
usually put about 15-20 drops of the oil in a warmer or mix with potpourri.
This oil is made with vanilla butter cream, caramel marshmallow fluff, musk,
and Tonka Bean. Because of the oil’s unique blend, I think it is great all by
itself, but to enhance the scent a little bit, I mix it with a spicy scent,
such as Claire Burke’s Christmas Memories. Vanilla Bean is such a neutral
fragrance that it can be blended with a variety of scents or simply enjoyed as
it is. The fragrance has a great throw and fills every room with a sweet,
welcoming scent. The home fragrance oil
comes in a 15 ml bottle and is $4.50.
Christmas Memories Home
Fragrance Room Spray and Oil: Cinnamon and spice and everything nice is what this fragrance reminds me
of as well as sitting next to a warm fireplace and drinking hot cup of apple
cider with cinnamon and cloves on a cold evening. This is a wonderful fragrance
for the holidays and the spray comes in a 3 oz. container and is $8.50. Just like the spray, the fragrance oil is
just as strong, long lasting, and a little goes a long way. Because I am fond
of scents that have top notes of cinnamon and cloves, Christmas Memories has
become one of my favorite scents this year. The oil is 15 ml and is available
for $7.95.
