What is Glytone?
Glytone is a Physicians product line that is formulated with free acid values, known as Glycolic Acid. Each product has been specifically made for individual skin types. Here are some of products from the Glytone line that I have found to be very beneficial for the skin.
Glytone Mild Gel Wash: A great cleanser to try if you have normal to oily skin. This gel wash is oil free, gentle on delicate skin, contains 4.7% glycolic acid, and moisturizers. It helps to cleanse the skin of oil, dirt, make-up, and dead skin. After using this product, your skin will feel and look cleaner, softer, and smoother. It does not have any fragrance to it, which I like. You can use it twice a day, cleansing the face and neck areas. This is a good cleanser to use everyday, because of its mild ingredients. Price: $28.00.Glytone Mild Cream Wash: If you have normal to dry skin, then this is the cream wash for you. Glytone Mild Cream Wash comes in a 6.7 fl. oz. bottle and contains 3.4% glycolic acid. It is a creamy cleanser with special moisturizers that will leave your skin feeling soft without drying it out. Combined with glycolic acid, your skin will feel clean, refreshed, and so very soft! Glytone Acne Self-Foaming Cleanser: Special needs require special cleansers, such as the Glytone Acne Self Foaming Cleanser, which will help to reduce acne, bacteria, and remove dead skin cells without causing irritation. The cleanser comes in a 3.fl.oz. bottle and contains 0.5% Salicylic Acid. What I like about this cleanser is that you can either cleanse your face with it or you can use it like a mask. To use the product as a mask, just take a small amount and apply a very thin layer to your face, leave it on for 30 seconds, and then rinse it off. Your skin will look and feel great. Price: $39.00.
Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash: This body wash is a must have for body exfoliation, because of its high glycolic acid content. The Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash comes in a 6.7 fl. oz. container and has 8.8% glycolic acid, which is perfect for removing dead surface skin on areas of the body, such as on the knees, elbows, legs, back, and arms . The glycolic acid will quickly and easily exfoliate rough, dry skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and supple after every wash. The Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash is not oily or greasy and the glycolic acid in it is what sloughs off the dead skin cells and makes your skin feel smoother. Glytone Body Lotion SPF 15: It is always important to apply a good body lotion to your skin after using the exfoliating body wash. My skin usually gets very dry, because I don't always use a moisturizing cleanser. The dryness can be eliminated by using a moisturizing lotion immediately after taking a shower or bath. The Glytone Body Lotion with SPF 15 is a good lotion to use after washing with the Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash. I personally prefer to use the body lotion in the evening, but it can be applied anytime of the day. It comes in a 12 fl. oz. bottle, contains 12% glycolic acid, is PABA free, has nourishing and softening Shea Butter, and SPF 15 to help protect the skin from the sun's ultra violet rays.
