Fall has arrived and if you are thinking of giving a gift to someone you love or even to yourself, then I have some suggestions for you.
Crabtree & Evelyn had its beginnings in 1972 as a family business that specialized in fine soaps, but then the company branched out with toiletries, fragrances, gifts, and gourmet foods.
I am going to share with you some of my favorite picks for the fall season which are unique and a delight to the senses.
India Hicks Island Living Casuarina Fragrance Diffuser: I absolutely enjoy sweet fragrant smelling scents filling the atmosphere of my home, spreading a rich aroma to each room. The India Hicks Island Living Casuarina Fragrance Diffuser is an exotic fragrance made from Casuarinas Trees, orange palm leaves, blossoms, and sea air. The 6.8 fl. oz. glass decanter is filled with fragrance oil, beautiful white sea shells, and comes encased in a classy dark wooden case with brass clasps. The diffuser comes with wicking reeds, that when placed within the diffuser, release the aromatic fragrance into the air. The scent is lovely, lasting up to 3 months, and the glass decanter with sea shells is beautiful to behold. I never had a diffuser like this one before and the entire design of the wooden case reminds of a treasure chest and the glass diffuser is the sweet smelling treasure. If you like fresh exotic scents, then you will enjoy this one. Price: $70.00
Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette: I love perfume and Eau de Toilettes, so much so, that I do not want to leave my home without applying fragrance to my wrists or neck area. I even like to wear perfume at home. One of my favorites is the Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette Spray which comes in a 2 fl. oz. sized bottle and is an oriental floral fragrance made from essential oils of briar roses, fresh greens, bergamot vanilla, and amber. It is a fresh scent that smells like roses in a grassy field. The fragrance is so versatile that it can be worn in the day or evening. Price: $40.00
Wisteria Eau de Toilette: The second scent that I would like to share with you that I enjoy wearing from Crabtree & Evelyn is the Wisteria Eau de Toilette. This fragrance reminds me of an English countryside covered with blooming Wisteria Flowers. There is an actual place called Wisteria which has fragrant, beautiful blue flowers that adorn the landscape and grow in abundance. This light Eau de Toilette is made with gardenia, mandarin, ylang ylang blossoms, nashi pear, and musk. I do not like it as much as the Nantucket Briar Eau de Toilette, only because I prefer a fragrance that is a tad bit heavier, but if you like light floral scents with warm gentle notes of musk, then the Wisteria Eau de Toilette could be the perfect choice for you. Available in 2 sizes- 30 ml/$25.00 and 100 ml/$45.00
Himalayan Blue Bath and Shower Gel: This is quite a unique bath and shower gel that is refreshing with an exotic scent. Notes of warm ginger, spices, black tea, patchouli, exotic woods, and leather make this shower gel so appealing to the senses. The shower gel has a thicker consistency than the majority of bath gels that I have used and it is great to use when taking a warm bath or a shower, because the fragrance seems to intensify when the gel is applied with warm water. The Himalayan Blue Bath and Shower Gel comes in a 200 ml bottle and is priced at $28.00.
Nantucket Briar Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy: I do not want to have dry lizard looking hands, so to keep my hands soft, I need to use a hand cream to protect and soothe my hands. Since I love the Nantucket Briar fragrance so much, one of my favorite products from Crabtree & Evelyn is the Nantucket Briar Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy Cream, which is an award winning hand cream that is made with natural shea butter. It moisturizes, conditions, and soothes the skin with the exquisite fragrance of vanilla, briar roses, fresh greens, bergamot, amber, and it comes in a 3.5 fl. oz. container that is the perfect size to carry in a purse, small handbag, or suitcase. West Indian Lime Shave Cream: I can’t leave out the men this fall season, so if you are a man or you know a man who loves the scent of lime, especially in a shaving product, then the West Indian Lime Shave Cream is great choice. The lime scent is refreshing and because the shave cream is made with Glycerin and vitamin E, it is also soothing to the skin. This wonderful lathering formula protects skin from the irritating affects of razor burn and it does not contain any phthalates or mineral oil. The fragrance is composed of fresh limes, nutmeg, ginger, vetiver, coriander, juniper, and the shave cream comes in a 100g squeeze container that can be easily dispensed with a silver key that you attach at the bottom.
